I used to sort of let it go in one ear and out the other when people talked about “shakes.” I wasn’t a “shake person.”  And it’s funny how one of the first things I would question is what was in the “shake?”  But interestingly enough, I never really examined or questioned the ingredients of the food I was eating.  I would eat food and not think about the ingredients.  I mean, like when someone invited me over to their house to eat, I didn’t exactly say, well can I see a list of the ingredients?  But someone would tell me about a shake or even offer to make me one & I was like, “well what is in it?”
