So I originally had photos of my kids making these super easy Sunbutter Cups, but my phono blew-up and went into recovery mode and erased EVERYTHING! 🙁
This healthier take on Reece Peanut Butter Cups is so easy and super fun for kids to do…my kids literally made these while I made dinner! We have a nut allergy in our house, and so does half the planet, so using Sunbutter is a great option!
Have your kids line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners.
Melt the highest quality Cacao chocolate you can find in a glass measuring cup in the microwave. Melt in 30 second increments, stirring each time.
Use a spoon to pour the melted chocolate into the cupcake liners, enough to cover the bottom and then some.
Mix equal parts Sunbutter and powdered sugar and mix to form a paste. Let kids scoop out Sunbutter paste and roll in the palm of their hands to form a ball, then flatten into a disc shape and place on top of melted chocolate in cupcake liners. Top with remaining melted chocolate, to cover Sunbutter disc.
Freeze.
Peel off cupcake liner and ENJOY!!
