Ahoy, me hearties!  START TH’ Party!!

For our daughter’s birthday, I decided to plan a Pirate Party at the Park!!  All the kids were given a bandanna to wear with eye patches when they arrived.

I organized a scavenger hunt for the kids. A quick trip to the Dollar Store & I was able to find everything I needed for the hunt!  Fishing nets were great for the kids to use to collect their treasures. Using a Map, the kids hunted around the park & followed clues, finding gold stars, glow sticks, chocolate coins, beaded necklaces & other pirate loot!

And since it was at the park, obviously the kids had fun playing on the playground and “Walking The Plank!”

The menu was simple. I served Fruit Loot(p)s , Captain Crunch, Pirate Booty & Bones (Scooby Doo Graham Cracker Snacks) Mini Hot Dogs & fruit rounded out the party snacks. Homemade cupcakes topped with “Bones” & Chocolate Coins and Pirate Sugar Cookies added to the Pirate theme fun!!
