Poolside Party

I love a good poolside party. This idea can be used for a birthday party, play date, staycation or even a diy home based summer camp!!

I am always keeping my eye on the $10 & under items at Target and I also look for party theme ideas at the dollar store, Walmart & Michael’s craft store.

When I saw these flamingo beach towels for $6, I knew I had my theme! And my daughter loves pink, so it was even more perfect!!

The girls started the celebration by going to an aerial yoga class at a local yoga studio. While they sweated, I set up the party. Each girl had a flamingo towel, orange, a pink cup & a bag of popcorn waiting for them when they arrived. I love party favors but I am not a huge fan of candy so the pool towels were a perfect party favor.

I served some poolside chicken tenders and fruit and the girls had a blast chatting & laughing poolside.

Next they changed into party clothes and had dinner. A set menu was served and each girls place setting had a Puravida bracelet, another fun and affordable party favor idea. (You can also choose bracelets where a portion of the proceeds go to charity!)
