These Cinnamon Swirl Banana Muffins are so delicious!!  Perfect for breakfast or a snack, your kids will love them too!!

INGREDIENTS

BANANA MUFFIN

3 ripe bananas

4 tbsp melted unsalted butter

3/4 cup pure maple syrup

1 cup unsweetened oat milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour (regular or gluten free)

1 cup old fashioned rolled oats

CINNAMON SWIRL

2 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil

4 tablespoons cinnamon

2 tbsp brown sugar (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375

Grease muffin pan (I used Pam)

in a large mixing bowl, mash banana with a fork

Add butter, syrup, oat milk, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda.  Add flour and oats and stir to combine.
Divide batter evenly among muffin cups

In a small bowl mix cinnamon, coconut oil or melted butter and brown sugar.  (You can also use just cinnamon & skip butter & sugar)

Spoon onto top of muffins & using a toothpick or knife, swirl cinnamon into batter

Bake for 30 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
